How to Make
- Firstly, cut or tear white tissue paper into smaller pieces.
- Then draw and cut out various sized shape hearts from pink and red tissue paper.
- Next, mix pva glue with water to create a thinner consistency.
- Begin creating a layer of white tissue paper and glue on the jar.
- Glue the love hearts on top of the white tissue paper, you can always slightly overlap the hearts.
- While the jar is still wet, sprinkle iridescent glitter on top.
- Place your string lights in the jar.
- Screw the lid back on the jar.
- Cut 2 rough circle shapes, bigger than the lid, from light and dark pink tissue paper (make sure one circle is bigger than the other). You can use a circular object to draw around.
- Stick the larger circle on the lid, then stick the smaller circle on top.
- Cut a length of purple ribbon and tie it around the jar, you may need help from another person to do this.
Top Tip
Make sure you don’t create too many layers of white tissue paper and glue as you want the light to be able to shine through.
