  1. Take a sheet of light brown paper and cut it lengthways into strips. You will need six strips, about 1.5 cm wide. Stick one strip on each long side of a dark brown piece of cardboard using double-sided adhesive tape. Use a ruler to mark where the other strips should go and make sure they are evenly distributed. Then stick them down with double-sided adhesive tape.
  2. Fold the brown card into a thin piece of folded card. Fold it in half lengthways and stick it in place with double-sided adhesive tape. Then leave the folds open to create the fan. Take a piece of light brown cardboard and cut out the shape of a hedgehog's face. Draw on the nose and inner ears with a brown pen and stick on two googly eyes. Stick this to the underside of the fan using double-sided adhesive tape.
  3. Take two wooden sticks and place them next to each other so that they are touching. Cut out a strip of cardboard that is slightly thinner and shorter than the two wooden sticks. Then stick the cardboard to the wooden sticks using double-sided adhesive tape to join the two sticks together. Stick the wooden sticks to the back of the fan to form the handle.
