  1. Take a sheet of orange paper/card and trim about an inch off the long edge in a straight line to make the paper slightly thinner.
  2. Fold the top left corner down in a diagonal line until the edge meets the right hand edge of the paper. Crease the fold and then undo it and repeat with the other top corner to create a cross with the folded lines.
  3. Fold the top edge down horizontally so that the line folds across the centre point of the cross. Then unfold it and turn the paper upside down.
  4. Press the centre of the cross down and pull in the two corners. Then press the paper down and crease along the folds to create a triangle at the top of the paper.
  5. Fold the two bottom points of the triangle upwards so that they meet the point at the top of the triangle.
  6. Fold the right hand edge of the bottom section of the paper inwards to meet the centre line, and crease the fold. Repeat this with the left hand side so that they both meet in the middle.
  7. Fold the bottom edge upwards, making sure the fold is at the bottom of the triangle. Then fold it down again to create a 'Z' shape.
  8. Cut out two dog ear shapes from brown card and stick them to the top of the origami dog using either tape or glue. Cut a tail shape from the same sheet of card and stick it to the back of the dog.
  9. Stick two wiggle eyes to the dog in between the ears. Then stick a black pom pom to the front to make the dog's nose.
  10. To make the dog jump, just press down on the back edge and then release.
