Top Tip

Make sure to stick your animal face high up on the band so that it doesn’t cover your eyes.

    How to Make the Camel Headband
  1. Print and cut out the template pieces.
  2. Trace the face on yellow card, the eyes on black card, and the nose/lips on orange self-adhesive felt.
  3. Stick the nose, lower lip, and two upper lips in the centre of the face.
  4. Stick the eyes on either side of the lips.
  5. Add black self-adhesive felt eyelashes drooping slightly toward the face’s edges.
  6. Stick small pieces of yellow wool to the ears and top of the head for texture.
  7. Cut two strips of yellow card (5cm wide), tape the ends together to form one long strip.
  8. Glue the camel face to the centre of the strip, then fit and secure the headband around the head with double-sided tape.
  9. How to Make the Donkey Headband
  10. Trace and cut the ear template on brown card and brown self-adhesive felt, then stick them together.
  11. Stick pink self-adhesive felt for the inner ears.
  12. Trace and cut the hair template on yellow card and yellow self-adhesive felt, then stick them together.
  13. Cut two strips of brown card (5cm wide), tape together to make one long strip.
  14. Glue the ears and hair to the centre, leaving a 3cm gap between the ears.
  15. Secure the headband around the head with double-sided tape.
  16. How to Make the Sheep Headband
  17. Trace and cut the sheep’s nose from pink self-adhesive felt, then stick to the bottom of the face.
  18. Add wiggle eyes.
  19. Cut two strips of black card (5cm wide) and tape them together to form one long strip.
  20. Generously glue pom poms on the sheep’s head and across the headband, leaving space at one end.
  21. Allow to dry completely before fitting and securing the headband with double-sided tape.
