Top Tip
You don't always need to clean the foam between marbling; just add more paint and create another layer when it gets messy. However, it's best to wash it when switching to a different colour for a cleaner result.
How to Make
Step 1
To start, use the template and cut out your shapes from watercolour paper.
Step 2
Fill a tray with shaving foam, filling enough area to cover the watercolour paper shapes.
Step 3
Next, squirt your chosen coloured paints on top of the shaving foam and swirl the paint and shaving foam with a paint brush.
Step 4
Place the cut-out watercolour paper into the foam and paint mixture. Slightly push down to ensure all areas of the watercolour paper are covered.
Step 5
Take the paper out of the tray, scrape off the excess foam, then paint with a squeegee or a ruler.
Step 6
To finish, when the paint is dry, you can punch a hole in the top of the shapes and thread a length of ribbon through the hole so that you can hang your marvellous creations.
