When poking a hole into each centre, place a towel underneath and press a pencil through.
How to Make
Step 1
Cut the template out and then cut the pieces out of coloured card. Poke a hole in the centre of the three circles.
Step 2
Next, cut out the strips and stick on the space paper. Leave to dry. Poke a hole in the ends of each of these strips following the template guide.
Step 3
Connect the longest strip to the sun with a split pin so that it still rotates. Connect the Earth to the other end of this strip.
Step 4
Connect the smaller strip between the earth and the moon. When you rotate these, you will see that the moon circles the earth as the earth circles the sun.
