How to Make

  1. For this project you will need some pre dried autumn leaves, you can do this by pressing them in a flower press or a large book.
  2. Paste two sheets of tracing paper with PVA, (you can mix it with a little water if you find it too thick)
  3. Take your leaves and stick them onto the papers.
  4. Paste a little glue over your leaves.
  5. Then take two new sheets of tracing paper and stick these over the top sandwiching your leaves.
  6. Press flat and let dry.
  7. Next take a small paper plate any colour and cut triangles around the outer rim, folding the triangles up as you go.
  8. Once your paper is dry stick the short edge around the plate taping the triangles inside
  9. Do this or both sheets. Sticking the meeting edges of the papers with glue
  10. Fold a sheet of tracing paper into a strip and stick on for the handle.
  11. Once dry place the lights inside and if you want you can tape them up the inside in a spiral.
